LIV-UP membership is available to adults age 55 or over who want to stay in their homes, condos, or apartments as they grow older — and if LIV-UP is right for their needs. Our service area is the upper central area of Pinellas County, loosely bounded on the south by Ulmerton Road and on the north by Curlew Road.

Our volunteers are trained and background-checked. They can help with occasional things neighbors do for each other. Typical volunteer tasks include: organizing paperwork, assistance with moving items in the home, computer and other technology help, basic household tasks and repairs, reorganizing a closet or kitchen, reading to a member whose vision has diminished, driving to appointments, assisting with grocery shopping, and much more. We can also help as a resource for services that are beyond what our volunteers do. Members also have the opportunity to attend social and educational events.
